Shades of Praise Choir

For youth ages 12-18
Location: Citrus Heights/Thursdays or Elk Grove/Fridays
Tuition: $25/month, plus $15 registration fee and $15 music fee per student per semester.

The teen years present an opportunity to learn new skills beyond the scope of book work. In preparation for adulthood, take advantage of the many benefits of participation in a choir:

  • Learning 3-5 part harmonies, possibly also a solo
  • Acting in roles and gaining confidence on stage through participation in the drama program
  • Coordinating body movements into dance choreography
  • Experiencing working as a team
  • Sharing the Gospel through music

Jesus Express Choir

For youth ages 6-12
Location: Citrus Heights/Thursdays or Elk Grove/Fridays
Tuition: $25/month (sliding scale for additional siblings), plus $10 registration fee per student per semester.

Looking for a way to add music into your school program? Would you like your child to gain confidence in front of an audience? How about an opportunity to learn drama skills? You can satisfy all of these desires by encouraging your child to participate in the Jesus Express Choir. Other benefits include:

  • Gaining confidence in front of an audience
  • Improving hand-eye coordination through choreography
  • Learning to take direction
  • Developing self-discipline in a group
  • Being part of a team effort to present a fun musical
  • Acting in roles and gaining confidence on stage through participation in the drama program

Primer Choir

for youth ages 4-6
Location: Citrus Heights/Thursdays
Tuition: $10/month

Give your little ones a positive experience as they start their musical journey singing God's Word, as they learn hand movements and develop friendships and vocal skills. This will not be a full-fledged performance choir, but will have the opportunity for one performance per season for relatives. Along with the fun, they will:

  • Learn hand movements
  • Develop frindships
  • Strengthen vocal skills
  • Take direction
